1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small values stored by a browser and sent with relevant website requests. Local storage holds data in the browser without automatically sending it with each request. Similar identifiers may support security or campaign attribution; not all tracking uses cookies.

2. How ClicksBounty Uses Cookies

The current application uses a session cookie for login and local storage for unfinished application drafts. Click attribution also uses server-side records. This inventory describes the inspected application; deployment-added technologies require review before launch and whenever changed.

3. Essential Cookies

The cb_session cookie carries a signed session token for authenticated access. Its configured lifetime is 12 hours, or seven days when the remember option is selected. Logging out clears it. Legacy og_session cookies are also recognised during compatibility migration and removed on logout. These are access cookies, not an advertising-cookie inventory.

4. Authentication and Security

Session cookies are HTTP-only and use SameSite=Lax; Secure is enabled in production. They support authentication and role checks. Blocking them prevents normal login. These settings reduce particular risks but do not guarantee security or replace secure deployment.

5. Preferences

The application stores a draft under cb-application-draft in browser local storage and can read a legacy draft key for migration. Passwords, uploaded files and agreement checkboxes are excluded from the saved draft. Other entered application details may remain on that device until successful submission or site-data clearing. No separate preference cookie is currently identified.

6. Analytics

No separate browser analytics cookie integration is identified in the current code. Operational click and conversion reporting is described below. If analytics is introduced, assess its data flows, update this inventory and provide notice and consent controls where required before activation.

7. Affiliate Tracking

Authorised redirects create server-side click records that associate activity with an affiliate and campaign. Partner conversion notifications support attribution, campaign measurement, duplicate or invalid-activity checks and reporting. The current redirect handler does not set an affiliate attribution cookie. Partner destinations may use their own technologies. Cookie stuffing, hidden forced clicks and attribution manipulation are prohibited.

8. Third-Party Technologies

Campaign destinations and infrastructure providers may process technical information under their own arrangements. Their technologies are not automatically covered by a ClicksBounty preference. The operator must confirm the deployed inventory and any required consent mechanism before launch; do not assume an unlisted provider or cookie is present.

9. Managing Cookies

Use your browser’s site-data settings to inspect, block or remove cookies and local storage. Clearing local storage removes a saved application draft; clearing cookies signs you out. Controls apply to the selected browser and device. The platform currently has no optional analytics-cookie toggle because no such integration is identified; introduce appropriate controls before activating technologies that require them.

10. Changes

We will update this Policy when relevant technologies or uses change, showing a new version and dates. A notice alone is not a substitute for consent where applicable law requires it. The deployment inventory must be reviewed before publication.
