Know what counts before you promote.
Performance campaigns use different events to define a result. These explanations help you read an offer; they are not a public inventory or a promise that a particular model is available.
Five labels you may encounter
- CPA · Cost per action
- A commission is associated with a defined qualifying action. The label alone does not establish the event: read whether the campaign requires a registration, enquiry, purchase or another result.
- CPL · Cost per lead
- The result is a lead meeting stated criteria. A submitted form may still be ineligible because of geography, confirmation, duplicate or other campaign requirements.
- SOI · Single opt-in
- Generally describes one opt-in or submission step. It does not mean every submitted registration qualifies, and it does not establish a universal payment schedule.
- DOI · Double opt-in
- Generally requires a further confirmation after the initial submission, often through an email confirmation step. Other eligibility conditions can still apply.
- CPS · Cost per sale
- The result is a qualifying purchase. Commission may be fixed or calculated from the sale under the agreed rules; refunds or chargebacks may affect eligibility where applicable.
The campaign defines the actual conditions
Approved affiliates should review the current campaign record before launching traffic. Two offers using the same model can have very different requirements.
- Affiliate payout and validation rules.
- GEO, audience, device and conversion requirements.
- Allowed and prohibited traffic, including incentive and brand-bidding rules.
- Caps, availability and approved creative assets.
- Special restrictions and payment conditions.
Campaign-specific requirements apply in addition to ClicksBounty network policies. If a permission is unclear, ask before sending traffic.
Attribution and eligibility are separate
A tracking record identifies activity. Review determines whether the action satisfies the applicable rules. Conversions can be Pending, Approved, Rejected or Reversed, and payment eligibility follows the agreement.
